Rain rain go away, come again another day, if your floors get wet today, we don't want you to have to pay!

I'm not the best poet, but rainy season is upon us and you never know if it will sprinkle or monsoon! If you are looking to redo your floors, here is what we recommend in case your floors get wet!

❌WORST OPTION

  • Hardwood or Laminate Flooring
  • I know we all love it, but if you live in a flood zone or your house easily floods, this flooring would have to be completely replaced which could cost you a lot of money. Luckily there are options out there that look very similar, are cheaper, and could survive a water catastrophe!

✅BEST OPTION

  • Porcelain Tile

  •                      Not only would this floor survive water damage, but it is durable, easy to clean, and there are so many options you can choose from! If you do not like the "tile" look, we even have porcelain tile that looks like wood so you still get the best of both worlds! Cons - depending on what you want, this could be more expensive.

👍COMPROMISE

  • Waterproof Vinyl

  • This vinyl flooring is your most affordable option and the easiest to maintain! It is waterproof, but the only downfall is that if water gets underneath the planks, they would have to be replaced. Luckily you would not have to replace the whole floor, only the damaged area.

These are flooring options to keep in mind for when it is time to update or renovate your home. Although we love your business, we do not want you to be in a bind if your home were to flood.

Who knows with this weather...one day we are in a drought, the next day it's snowing, and the next month we are in a flood warning. Oh to be a Texan.
